About Our Team

Abehinnyuen Community of Hope (ACOH), Inc. was founded after our 2009 visit to Liberia, where we witnessed the lasting devastation of 14 years of civil war and felt a divine call to serve. Continued visits in 2010 and 2012 deepened our commitment to supporting vulnerable children, families, and the elderly through food, medicine, clothing, and other essential aid. The 2014 Ebola crisis further inspired a holistic, faith-based mission focused on safe water, education, medical support, and spiritual growth.

Established in 2017 in New York and Liberia, ACOH is a registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian and faith-driven initiatives. Our work integrates spiritual, physical, and relational support to promote healthy living, strong families, and community transformation. The name “Abehinnyuen,” meaning “We can do it” in the Bassa language, reflects our belief in shared strength and collective impact.

With a devoted team of wellness consultants, field officers, and volunteers, ACOH empowers communities through sustainable solutions grounded in compassion and service to God. Guided by scriptures such as Matthew 22:36–40 and Colossians 3:23–24, we strive to embody God’s love through practical action.

Core Values

  • Faith & Compassion: Serving God and neighbor with humility and love.

  • Empowerment: Providing tools and support for families to thrive.

  • Holistic Development: Meeting spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs.

  • Collaboration: Working together for sustainable, lasting change.

  • Integrity: Acting with transparency, responsibility, and accountability.

ACOH is committed to creating hope, opportunity, and transformation for individuals and communities. Join us in uplifting lives through compassion, collaboration, and faith.
