COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM

Description

computer literacy has become an essential skill that permeates all aspects of modern society in the digital age. As technology continues to advance at an unprecedented pace, the ability to navigate and understand computers and related technologies has evolved from a nice-to-have skill to a fundamental requirement. Computer literacy in modern society has its impact on education, employment, communication, healthcare, entertainment, and the economy.

Computer literacy plays a pivotal role in modern education, transforming the way students learn and teachers teach. Some key aspects of its importance in:

i). Access to Information: The internet is a vast repository of knowledge, and computer literacy enables students to access this wealth of information instantly. With a few clicks, students can research topics, access academic journals, and find educational resources that enrich their learning experience.

ii). Online Learning: The rise of online education platforms, often referred to as e-learning, has made education more accessible than ever before. Computer literacy is crucial for students to participate in online courses, which can be a cost-effective and flexible way to pursue education.

iii). Digital Skills: In today’s world, digital skills are a must-have. From creating documents and spreadsheets to using specialized software for subjects like mathematics or graphic design, students need computer literacy to excel in their studies.

iv). Critical Thinking: Computer literacy also encourages critical thinking. Students must evaluate the credibility of online sources, analyze data, and solve complex problems using technology. These skills are not only important for academics but also for real-world problem-solving.

v). Educational Tools: Teachers use various software and online tools to enhance their teaching methods. Students who are computer literate can benefit from these tools, which often make learning more engaging and interactive

Projected Result

The full implementation of this program seeks to cultivate a community of knowledgeable and responsible individuals to enhancing their lifestyles and transforming their environments. By putting this initiative into action, we expect to see a notable decrease in computer illiteracy, health challenges, crime, and violence. Ultimately, it will enable individuals to focus on technology, education, wealth, safety, and health, creating a brighter future for everyone

ACOH RADIO & TV

ACOH FM Radio has faced challenges since 2018 due to a lack of essential studio equipment, including a transmitter, computer, speakers, microphones, and antenna. Our previous amateur transmitter, a portable CD/cassette player, was damaged by a donated 12-volt battery. While we have turned to social media to stay connected with our audience, the lack of electricity and reliable internet continues to pose significant challenges for our rural community. We remain committed to finding solutions to bring our station back to life.

ACOH THEATRE ARTS

The theatre arts are essential in sharing the Gospel of Love. The arts are visual and used to tell true visual stories pertaining to live and Godly living.

Our Radio, TV, Theatre Arts, Media & Broadcasting Club

(Basic Theatre Arts, Media & Journalism)

Is to share the GOSPEL of LOVE through providing

a faith-based radio and performance arts ministry that would train journalists to tell the TRUTH (Journalism) and theatre arts from God's perspective in their careers. spread the Gospel of Love by offering hands-on computer and literacy education.
